They may reject the appeal but you don't get an increased penalty for questioning the decision. That is definitely kangaroo court territory.
I do have issues with the number and duration of bans generally. A red card is a big punishment early in the game, and sin bins generally hurt teams as well. The number and duration of bans being handed out this year suggests its world war three and yet the game has never been cleaner. Bizarrely I would argue Tetevano's ban is too short - I thought his tackle was awful and deliberate.

Newman 1 game and the club doesn`t appeal.
Tetevano at least 8 games considering his previous bans.
3 games for Newman for a first offence is ridiculous imo.
Has the ref been demoted yet for this weeks games?
