Leeds Utd probably.

I do hope wherever they do relocate (if they do), it'll be south of the River Aire where they belong.

Unless they revert back to the original Ridsdale plans and move to the site at the side of the M1 at J46 which is technically north of the River Aire.

Near Garforth/Colton?

That's absolutely fine.

Nowhere near me or where I'm likely to visit or pass through.

I'd have thought that Elland Road was suitable for the current Leeds team. However a leeds team in the premiership would probably fill it every week, so something should be done. Stadiums are expensive and slow to do though and teams are unpredictable. Plenty of teams have moved into shiny new stadia and dropped down the leagues. I'd think redevelopment of the West stand would be the best way forward. It's ancient in there

elland road is crumbling. three sides need redeveloping. its got to the stage where I think a new one is needed. with various grants, plus if they bought the ground back then sold it on that would contribute a lot of cash, a new ground with no history could have naming rights too.
perhaps they had a builder owner like the rhinos he could be lucky enough to put in the lowest tender

This new fella Radrizzani has a media/sponsorship background so i wouldn't be surprised to see ER naming rights paying for the re-purchase/upgrade especially given his Chinese contacts.

It seems to me that the advantage LUFC has over the Rhinos is the amount of developable land immediately around their current stadium.
But as always funding is the stumbling block.
Spurs new stadium looks excellent & it has a microbrewery on site, plus an in-house bakery.
Cakes & Ale!!

Sporting events in this country really need to up thier game. Going into Headingley or most other stadiums to be honest is like stepping back into the 80's with 2 pint pots of crap lager and luke warm pukka pies or frozen chips for a fiver.

Peoples tastes have moved on. People will pay top dollar for high quality food and drinks nowadays. Sporting events in the U.S are on a diffrent planet.
