Apart from the mile walk to the stadium from the 'coach park' I was very impressed. The concourses were a bit open though.

great stadium, we parked just over the bridge for only £1,i'd love to say the views were terrible but i had to suffer a great view of all those tries going in

Very impressed with the Stadium;

- Nice local cheap parking with easyish egress
- Decent ticket pricing
- Good view (unfortunately)
- Nice that home fans still choose to mingle with away fans
- Easy in and out

Only down-sides;

- The PA sounded like it came out of a Christmas cracker expecially when the young lass was screeching her lungs out
- We were a little disadvantaged by the sun in the first half, although there is not much Saints could do about that.
- Stewards a bit too attentive and serious, but they will mellow as they get used to the stadium

Let all the doubters keep doubting and those who believe keep believing.

We’re only interested in those in the bubble. Anyone who wants to come in the bubble, you can come in.

But you’ve got to keep believing.

Other than the sun, outstanding in every respect. Once I have worked out the optimal place to park it will be perfect :)

Stadium well signposted.
Parking was easy only 10 minute stroll from ground and nothing to pay.
The sun made it really bad for seeing - although, considering the result, that was probably a blessing.

Re: Langtree Park : Mon Mar 26, 2012 3:54 pm
So, in conclusion, it is quite good, but Saints really need to get somebody to move the sun a bit to make it perfect? Actually, if they could move it a bit further away then the view might be better, and they would, as a by-product, reduce the impact of global warming. Win win.

Oh, and surely a PA system that makes it hard to hear half time "entertainment" is a good thing and one which other grounds should adopt? Headingley's been favouring the South Stand by muffling the half time "entertainment" for years.

Every player in our squad could probably earn more money with another club. But they prefer to sacrifice a few extra quid in their back pocket to share special memories. And playing at a place like Old Trafford on a night like this makes it all worthwhile.

You forgot that Saints need to do something to about their and our performances so that we come away happy with the display and result.

I like it. Cheap parking, good views and even a decent drop of ale in the Founders Bar afterwards.
