Youve got to admit its all a bit bizarre, a swiss banker and a Rap artist wanting to buy a SL club with no assets that has been losing cash hand over fist, that gets small crowds.

Jacobsan Venture Group who set up the new Company Salford RL on 11th of February have filed today for cessation as majority shareholder - that doesn't look good, I can't see this being sorted before tomorrow when they have to submit their squad

It's a right old mess and horrible for Salford's small but massively loyal support base. I can't see any other scenario than one in which they have to sell players. I see Blease has mentioned we still have an eye on the transfer market. Would not be at all surprised it Watkins pulled on a blue and amber shirt this season.

I'd argue that it is. And a comprehensive one at that. Not for any sort of mathematical issues, obviously, but given the current circumstances of both teams, anything other than a vastly improved performance in both offence and defence, and the 2 comp points that will inevitably go with it, would surely set the alarm bells ringing in terms of our ability to compete and demonstrate significant progress, even more than they already are.
