Another rumour that we offered a contract to a running back who played American football.
But he couldn`t get a visa despite the agent who also represents Brodie Croft trying to get one for him.
Seems a strange one.

I was being sarcastic to the Wakey fan Arthur
Big Mik will (Or already has) signed a new deal at the Rhinos
He will be wearing the Blue and Amber in 2025

I think if BA stays/or we get another good coach and keep strengthening the pack it will be easier to retain people and if we start getting in top 4/ finals it will get slightly cheaper

Yep agree. If we look like a club that's challenging again and we have a top coach, retaining players we want to retain becomes easier like it did in the past.

Thats how its going to have to be. Build the team up, bring through the talent in the academy while topping that up with the best we can lay our hands on.

Hopefully weve already started sounding out coachs to come in after Arthur (personally I'd like to see an extension worked out for BA)

Im impressed with Arthur so far, very no nonsense and honest.

Didn't blease indicate a few weeks ago that a decision re BA was probably due around now?

Yes that has to be the model we follow.
Good players want to learn from good coaches and continue to develop.
Lachie Miller said recently that Arthur scares him to death but he offers good advice.
One thing he told him was to get a 7/10 every week as opposed to an 8/10 one week and a 2/10 the other.
I think Arthur will bring consistency, ownership and hard work in a no nonsense way.
That I think will attract players to the club and like what`s been said getting into the top 4 and challenging for trophies will attract good players both young and experienced.
