An interesting evening out for RL fans

The proposals for the new league structure are to be put before an EGM of the RL Council on Weds 9 October. As a special sneak preview Blake Solly , Director of Standards and Licencing at the RFL will run through the two possible proposals and answer any questions in relation to them. The event will be held at Carlton Cricket Club. Entry is free and the bar will be open. The event is on Monday 7 October, 7pm for a 7.30 start, is open to all and should be a very informative evening and will give local RL fans the opportunity to ask Blake Solly any questions abut the future of RL

One question would be how many teams will start the 2014 season ?

Another slightly off-topic question would be why the RFL haven't given any WC games to clubs like Wakey, Bulls and Cas Tigers ? - clubs that are crying out for a bit of income during the close season. The WF teams Cas, Wakey and Fev in particular have been forgotten all together regarding the WC. I won't be attending any WC games for this reason alone.

Probably because a) the facilities aren't good enough and b) those clubs didn't apply.

And yet games are scheduled for HKR, Neath and Workington ?

The Gnoll is a perfect size for Wales and the intention is staging games local to the fans.
