We should get a player swap for him & see how he goes, we could let them have one of our Centres for the rest of the season in exchange,

Agree with that frank but i would offer thompson to Keighley lets not keep him fit for Hull Fc hope to-night is is his last game for Cas (if he has signed elswhere)

Walton is rumoured to be one of the marquee signings at Salford.

Jason came through the Salford academy and was doing well, but he was a victim of the the whole mess john Wilkinson left us in and had to be let go, we have resigned Adam walne this year from Workington who was let go along with jason last year. The lad has potential and if he signs for you I hope he does well .

This isn't true, not even close my mate.

Cracking player though, I'm sure he'll go great for you guys. Quite disappointed he's not come back to us to be honest!

Could you enlighten us? I was told he was let go because of the money troubles we had same with Adam walne.

Jason left us a good 12 months before Adam Walne and it wasn't for financial reasons it was more to do with attitude and application. He has now apparently grown up and matured considerably as a person and as a player which has evidently earned him another shot in SL.

He's still only 22/23 and runs riot in the centres, he can do a good job back row also, like I said above I'm disappointed we've not brought him back.

Jason left us at the end of the 2009 season a full 3 years before Adam Walne; Karl Harrison snapping him back up to go to Batley. As was alluded to earlier there were said to be issues with missing training etc & McRae decided to let him go.

Looks more than capable of making the step back up to SL level whenever I see him on Thurs night games, will be a promising signing for whoever gets him.
