From what i saw tonight Wakefield looked liked they are coached correctly, they played at a high tempo,had a game plan and were aggressive in defence.

First half we were a shambles,yes we had a decent 15 mnutes at the start of the 2nd half but the damage was done in the 1st half.

All the teams around us are improving and we are going backwards fast. The board have to get shut now or the club won't have many fans left by the end of the season

Yeah, no-one had ever heard of him when he turned up asking for a job. With no track record the board took the brave decision to listen to his lies about having been some kind of RL coach.

Well, could have fooled me about his recent history in the top divisions!

Terrible record at Wigan, even worse at North Queenland and just look at what he's done at Cas.

You know things are bad when he's making Terry Matterson look brilliant.

At some point he must have had something about him to do all this:

Under Millward, St Helens retained their Super League title in 2000 and won it again in 2002. They also won the Rugby League Challenge Cup in 2001 and 2004 and the World Club Challenge in 2001. In 2001 Millward was named Super League Coach of the Year.(Wiki.)

That's not to say that he's a roaring success elsewhere but he DID have a proven track record, albeit with one club. Not too shabby. So, you can't sack him for lying about his skills, although I appreciate you were stretching the humour.

Can the club afford to sack? How long's he got on his contract?

Just looking at his record for Tigers alone. I think I'm right in saying he has 7.5 wins from 37. That is a 4.9% record. Any other club would have got shut ages ago.

It's a 20.2% record for the Tigers given the stats you mentions (7.5/37).
