It's fine to come out with statements like that when money is no problem, the salary cap was brought in for a reason, and that was to protect the clubs from them selves, if the cap went up to round about £2m it would be the end for the smaller clubs, their is no way they could afford to spend it.

It would be back to the days of Wigan running away with every thing and the rest spending money they don't have to try to compete, and were would the players come from, would he also like the cap for over seas players removed so he can do what Halifax did, & build a team of over seas players
