Read a couple of posts about differant clubs (Cas mainly) completing a lot of 'ins and outs'. This is happening more and more but I agree with some posters because it is a way of managing finances. Remember when Cas got a donation from Hull for Westerman, they spent it on funding for the stadium. Cas will have to do this as they are'nt as fortunate as some clubs on the stadium front but "In my opinion" they are doing it right. The playing side has suffered maybe but "We will get there Im sure" both on and off the field. Yes maybe the Rangi donation is to part fund 'their' own stadium but thats the way it has to be.

Do you mean transfer fees?

Rugby League is not a profit-making sport. A lot of the clubs are trying to make ends meet. It's inevitable that Cas will have to sell players every so often to balance the books and keep away from administration.

Unless a billionaire sponsor pops out the woodwork or 10,000 fans turn up every week to do it for us, that is the nature of the beast.
