Slightly OT for Cas but....... : Fri Sep 02, 2011 8:37 am
Intertesting one this (in my view): http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/rugby_l ... 746343.stm
I recall when Ben left Cas it was heralded as a watershed and Wakey were all over what a superstar he was and that we'd live to regret it and what a plum the Cas management was to allow it to happen. Interesting that another contract down the line he is away on his bike again somewhere else and only managed 7 stints this term at Wakey. I don't watch a lot of Wakey and I am not close to their setup, but perhaps it could be that the Cas management got it right in the first place and this individuals assessment of their own value in the market is not the same as CTRLFC and subsequently Wakey? (I will post fix this as I always do, I would have and still would do anything for a SL contract and half the talent that most of these guys have, I am not bagging him personally, just a point that ocurred to me) |
