The consultation event, taking place on July 9 from 10am to 3pm at Carlton Lanes shopping centre, will give local residents the chance to share their views with the consultants and council officers leading the project. Sorry, but, what? Its perfectly fine for WMDC to spend money raked in from Castleford, Pontefract, Featherstone, Normanton and anywhere else I've forgotten on Wakefield projects, but money raked in from those areas spent on those areas is wrong? Great idea.
Whatever happened to those plans to separate Pontefract and Castleford off and give them their own council?
