Hi,

Im up in Castleford / Pontefract this Thursday with work from warrington, staying over at travel lodge in pontefract.

Are there any decent pubs or places to go to pass time? I play pool so was weighing up pontefract cue club,but curious if there is anywhere else for a pint or ten?

Any advice / recommendations appreciated.

Xscape, Glasshoughton.

Few bars, cinema, bowling, pool tables (in Bowlplex), restaurants.

Should set you up for the evening.

There's pool tables and bars in Xscape which wouldn't be too far for you.
