If there was one rule in the game that I would change, it would be to get rid of flat passes and momentum passes. Whilst ever these are allowed the referee will be put in a situation where dubious decisions will be made and games will be spoilt.

Sadly it will be such passes that last nights game will remembered for. What should have been....shouldn't have been and.....what could have been.

Bring back a game where the pass must go backwards. Not level, not level but progressing forward with momentum.....backwards and only backwards!

If referee's want the respect that we as fans should be giving them, decisions need to be clear to all and not down to one persons interpretation.

You wouldn't be saying that on the back of a Leeds win after 2 dubious tries you scored on the back of flat passes and 2 that Cas had disallowed, had Cas been in front at the break, which they would have been, could have been a whole different ballgame IMO

You are missing the point.

Last nights game is history, but there are many games yet to be played that will be spoilt by these type of decisions over and over again.

Last nights game aside i have noticed that a lot of forward passes have come into the game lately, and you can tell that teams are actually training for this now, pushing the boundary to forward further and further. I would not like to see the game become like Rugby Union where passes are at least a yard forward before any interference from the referee.

Bringing in yesterdays debacle... Well it was exactly that, and it spoilt what would have become a much closer and harder fought encounter. Silverwood was a disgrace.

Fully Agree with this but the annoying thing ATEOTD was that Leeds scored thru hall off a Mcshane pass which was exactly the same as the 2 Cas ones that were disallowed, the JJB try came from 2 forward passes that were even further forward, it's about being consistent and it is ruining the game

No-one can argue. The passes were not forward. Even if we'd have missed the conversions it would have put us into a decent position in the time of the game, and given our players much more hope.

Leeds however kicked on from our downfall. No-one can blame them either, they were magnificent. Albeit on the back of Richard Silverwood.

Personally watching the game on TV I though Cas were robbed of any competitive edge by the different interpretations for Leeds forward passes and Cas forward passes. That being said I also thought that Cas lacked some pace in comparison to Leeds. But 12- 12 at half time or 8- 12 or 0- 6 at half time would have made for a completly different game and who knows what would have been the outcome.
