Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

Well done Castleford : Sun Aug 23, 2009 8:55 pm
You guys contributed to a pretty good game tonight and came back really well to make a game of it.

Cas are not far wrong this season as Phil Clarke said after the game.

I am much happier to see Cas in the play-offs instead of wire and Bradford and even Hull.

I imagine it was great viewing for a neutral. I personally think we were the better side but it's the final score that matters most.

I wouldn't mind another chance at Wigan in the playoffs.

Tompkins and your errors were the difference tonight at least it's an improvement on last week.
Mcgoldrick is still robbing a living though!

Anything would have been an improvement on last week. :D

I personally thought Goldy played alright tonight but still seems to be lacking in confidence.

thought leuleuai had a big impact on the game tonight, it wasn't all tomkins. wigan had quite a few errors of their own. to be honest i think wigan just edged it as the better team.

leuleuai tackled his backside off! I was impressed, he was punching way above his size. I would have given him MOM.

you are right. did a fantastic job in defence , and you don't see him diving , only for the try line. definitely my mom.

He did play a bit better in patches but was a couple of occasions with line gaping and he passed seems v low in confidence to me.

Leuluai has been our player of the season without doubt. He's really coming of age and is a very important player for us.

I thought Chase played pretty well for Cas. He's always a threat and caused no end of problems. If i were a Cas fan i'd have just liked to have seen him get a few more options around him. He was crying out for runners all game and didn't really get them.
