Roll on Monday. : Sat Apr 11, 2009 12:41 am
We haven't been so high up the superleague table for a wile and must have gotten a bit dizzy. We will shake it off come Monday though and we are still only two points behind second place. Roll on Monday and could do without rain.

Tonight's game will be forgotten about after our next win.

FLEETMASTER STAND THE HOME OF THE NORTHSTANDERS

"Quote" But perhaps most impressive is another bumper Wildcats home crowd – 9,237 for a Saturday TV game in the cold and wet is a fine effort from one of Super League’s most progressive clubs "Gareth Walker the Mirror"

must admit i can see us winning at warrington,it would be just typical of cas to give a performance like last night and then go and turn it on at wire.i think on monday we will just see how much belly we have got for a play off fight and it could determine our year.

We were poor last night mate. I know wire have been gash, but our performance last night didn't look good enough to beat anyone. If we play like we have been doing then i'm confident we can beat Warrington but if we don't get our squad back to pretty much full strength by then, then i can expect to see another performance like last night.

i think we'll be one of the only sides to be glad that we have such a short turn around, we need to get last night's game out of our system ASAP!!!

Yep. If we can forget last night and go back to our others performances where we've stood up, and then won the game through good rugby i'll be happy. Saddly if we turn in another poor show i'll be thinking our good start is over and we can expect another poor season.

I'm constantly asking questions of this seasons squad, like last night i questioned how we would cope with Goldy, Ferres and Jones out. Of course we knew we'd miss Goldy in attack, but i predicted a tough, scrappy game (which we're poor at imo) and we really needed the work of Ferres and Jones. How we would cope without them would tell me how our season is going to be. We were crap without them and that makes me worry a little.

Anyway, bring on monday and let's get back to winning ways. I'm trying to stay positive

Not sure about Jones mate. Tbh lately i haven't had that much time to read up and keep track of injuries etc. Goldy annoys me because he can be so good for us, but let's himself down at times. Rumours around town though that he'll be back against Wire, saying he'd told people he had got his ban reduced to one game. How true this is i don't know. I wouldn't believe Goldy though if he told me right now i was sat bored at work today (and i am).
