Huddersfield & stuff : Tue Mar 10, 2009 10:51 am
Sounds like Huddersfield have a few injury problems and with a lack of form too the Jungle could be rocking again this week.
Huddersfield have a good following so even though we are on sky i hope we can get over 8,000 for the first time this year.
COME ON TIGERS!

Don't underestimate Huddersfield. They've beaten Catalans and Bradford and turned in decent performances against Saints and Hull. I think this will be a massive test for us. We were well beaten by them twice last season though so our players should take no motivating to go out and give it everything they've got. It should be a really good game - hopefully we'll continue throwing the ball about and playing expansive rugby as we have been doing recently.

I'm sure we won't be underestimating them, they beat us in the pre-season friendly and looked a big unit up front. I think we've come a long way since then and Shifty has had a lot to do with that.

It will be a tough, physical game, but if we perform to our potential, as we have done in our last three games, then we should come out on top.

Our defence has to be the key, there's no doubt we will keep the scoreboard ticking, if we continue to play the expansive rugby we're playing, it's a matter of making sure they don't.

I can't help it but I'm waiting for the inevitable fall :(

We are a good team--4 wins will mean something we've all been waiting for.
Yes--that illusive thing called consistency :)

Cmon CAS!

George Bush says 'we are losing the war on drugs'. Well you know what that implies? There's a war going on, and people on drugs are winning it! Well what does that tell you about drugs? Some smart, creative motherfookers on that side."

This will be a good test to see how far we've come from the pre-season friendly

i agree we shouldn't underestimate them but in reality they beat catalan who we have also beat and to be honest we were far best team. and they beat what looks like a very poor bradford side. and having watched hudds on friday they look like they made far too many errors.

get into em early and we are very capable of beating these

Hmmm... Lost to them preseason but not by that many and missing Shifty too. I'd be inclined to stick my neck out on a Cas win if not for the fact that they'll be looking to up it after being "embarrassing" last week. Either way, it ought to be a good game for the Sky cameras.

Hudds look like being there or thereabouts this season, so even if Cas end up losing I'll be happy if we can match them for much of the game. To get a win out of it would be superb.

Difficult : Tue Mar 10, 2009 1:02 pm
Difficult one this - I feel like they have been a bogey side for us recently.

There is no reason we can't win it, player for player I think the run-on sides compare favourably. Bench might be the deciding factor.

Extra spice of course with a lot of old boys returning and some who left in better circumstances than others! If they all decide to take it personally and play to their best - we'll have to be great to beat them.

If we get a head of steam up early - I think they're going to struggle, but if they hang in there and it is close final quarter - could be trouble.

So, for a cast iron prediction- Us by plenty or them by a few!
