I also can't believe these people would turn up to just this one game, which wasn't exactly our highest profile game of the season, spend money to get in, throw bottles then disappear. They are obviously 'fans' of the club and i'm sure they are present every week, someone must have seen something.

As I said before, too many idiots, too many people willing to defend the idiots.

Well said.

Not bitter in the slightest. Kick you out and give Wigan a bye for me.

I object to thugs/morons/idiots/etc being allowed to ruin what used to be a family sport though.

If the RFL dealt out some harsh punishments then maybe the clubs might start to do something.

It's the same at Hull with Chav Corner. Everyone ignores it, nothing gets done so it continues year on year.

You get a small fine, fans moan a bit. Nothing will change.
If you were thrown out of the play offs then maybe, just maybe, people will start to take notice. The club will improve its stewarding and the decent fans will point out the idiots to them so they are banned.

I will look forward to you calling for bulls to have points deducted next time there is trouble at the crater then.

So you think every Cas fan, Cas player and employee should be punished for the behaviour of a handful of doylems?

You do know this is the first time Cas have been in bother for such an incident, don't you?

Cas have had their boll0cking and now they've got to learn from it, any repeat on a similar scale and the club can have little argument against a points deduction and Mr Disgusted of Buttershaw can jump for joy.

was at the game when it happened. got there early, there was a promotion on, something like buy one get one free on lager, to get people there earlier. i myself didn't drink , i was driving and had the kids with me but i would definitely put a lot of what happened down to the beer promotion. a lot of drunken fans, some who were quite young . the vast majority of cas fans had nothing to do with the trouble and would condemn it . to fine cas £40 000 is ok as long as when it happens anywhere else. they are dealt with in the same way. i don't think if points had been deducted that wouldn't have been fair to the loyal fans that go week in week out and behave themselves.

Can anyone bring to mind the punishment handed out for last seasons mass brawl between HKR/HFC fans on the pitch at Craven Park?

Hull KR were fined £7,500 with £5,000 of it suspended.

Laughable.

think it was something like a 5 grand fine, i am not sure but to me it was a far worse incident in which one of the players were struck and it all got a bit scary but the punishment was far less but now a pressitent has been set it must be followed through for everyone including the so called bigger teams.
