Ah, fantastic. We didn't realise Mr Glover had £7.5million in his back pocket. Surely if he did have, he'd mortgage it into a stadium for the Wildcats instead in the first place??
Does AG have that sort of money? In a word, yes.
I think some in the RL world haven't yet realised how wealthy he is.
Could he raise that money without dipping into his own pocket through his substantial business portfolio, almost certainly.
AG is a very successful businessman & IMO could be a potential solution to the problem.
Have I lost hope in NM? Far from it. I am more sure than ever that NM will be developed due to the LDF dates.
NM represents more than Pro RL & will be the crowning piece of sporting heritage for years to come- & I'm sure CT will make use of the amazing training facilities. But in all honesty isn't feasible due to red tape when WT need it most, now.
J32 maybe feasible but as we all know lacks funding. AG could be the solution to the short term problem we face a region. With the end game being 2 state of the art stadiums and world class training and development facilities for the use of all 3 teams in the vicinity.
If properly done (with taste and caution) we could make a solution to enable both clubs to go forward- regardless of how SL rules in July.
Utopian and idealistic maybe, but feasible.... IMO YES.
