Yeah, can't understand why they were saying that at all. It was even dafter that they let you all in after wards. Initially telling people it was sold out and sending them to the other stand to pay a tenner, but then later transferring everyone to the £20 stand but not asking for any more cash. Why not just let them in in the first place for £20?
I can't seem to get away from the idiots. Home games for me are fine cos i'm now in the Railway End but when we go away i seem to be a magnet for them. I'm no scrooge, like to see people enjoy themselves, have a beer if that's what they want, sing a song or two and create an atmosphere etc, but that lot get right on my tit ends. At least they're a good life lesson for my little lad that comes with me, i can point to them lot and show him what not to become as he grows up.
I was watching a guy as he entered the ground today. He was totally shocked at how bad CP is proclaiming it a dump, sh!thole etc etc. We do seem to have a few fans with a chip on the shoulder that seem to think that our ground is so much of a higher standard than other grounds. I love our ground, away fans like our ground, it's got character and when it's full is a great atmosphere and experience. But as sporting grounds go, WR is a sh!thole tbh, and that's why we're trying to get a new ground built. Craven Park is at least improving and that's all that anyone can ask for. You've only had a couple of season in SL but it's a better ground than when we were there in the NL1 days.

Thankyou for the honest comments.
We are trying and CP is improving as you say.
I honestly hope you get your new ground as well.
I thought it was a good hard battle and both teams came out of it with alot of credit. It was never going to be an easy game for us as Cas have been playing so well away from home.
I thought Hewer was out of his depth, plenty of calls we never seemed to get and plenty of Cas fans looking a bit mystified at some of his decisions. I thought we got all the 50/50 calls for 20 mins after Sherwin's high hit on Welham at the beginning of the game. I also thought it was a clear penalty for Cas when the high bomb was put up late in the game and a KR player clearly made contact with the Cas player challenging for the ball.
Saying that I thought we controlled most of the game and could/should have scored another try or two but our goal line defence was also very good again apart from one small lapse where you guys scored. i was very impressed with Sargent(sp), he took some stopping and was very tough in defence, my MOTM for Cas.
Cas should of had a penalty try when Fox took out Dixon and in the second half Dixom was certainly taken out again by Welham. Hewer was poor all round though
As I stated in another thread, the ground is perfectly adequate for the home fans along the sides. It's for the away fans who have to go in the ends that are a joke - one is rickety uncovered golf stand and the other a terrace about 50m behind the posts with no elevation and no view. We all know the the Jungle and it's limitations but I would take it along with BV and even Salford over Craven Park.
To be fair we're only in our third year in Super League, these ground improvements, which we know have to be done, can't happen overnight, especially in the current climate.
I understand that our South Stand is very poor, but to be honest, the North Stand is as near to the pitch as any other ground, fair enough it's not covered but nor are those at Wakefield, Salford, Leeds, etc. Also remember that many of our own fans can't get tickets for the East or West stands and use the North Stand. Our capacity is only just over 10, 000 and we desperately need to get that up to continue our progression. On the comment about home fans being okay, surely you look after your own fans first?
Our success on the field is paramount in us moving forward as far as ground improvements are concerned.
I thought you brought a good turnout lastnight, better than many other teams this season and I also thought it was a great game with both defenses at their best. I'm sure on current form, and with injured players back for both sides, we'll both be featuring in the playoffs.

I thought it was a penalty and the correct decision was given that time. There was no guarantee Dixon would have got the ball down but we have seen them been given before

What a shock! a fan speaking the truth on here instead of stupid arguments.I agree with all that you have said, both teams need better stadiums but it will take time and money. As for the fans,I can understand The Cas supporters being p!ssed off at the south stand view, but the behavior of around ten thugs leaving the stadium at the end of the match was disgusting. They were singing and chanting, which is fine, but when someone dared to say something back, they wanted a fight, shouted threats at the passing cars and behaved more like football hooligans. My ten year old daughter was quite frightened.I`m not saying it is just your fans, far from it,but i`ve got to say that is the first time i have seen it for a long time.Anyway, great game, and i`ll be amazed if you don`t finish in the top 5.

Unless you are Ben Thaler you can not give a penlty try for either of those.
Therev were far to many variables for you to be 'certain' he would score.
