What are you expecting and what would you consider to be a let down?
I've never quite understood the RFL's obsession with stadium facilities. I can generally manage to go 2 hours without a pee, and being a bloke I can go pretty much anywhere so toilets aren't an issue for me (I appreciate its different for the ladies). I can generally manage to survive 2 hours between meals so I don't expect food at a rugby match to be prepared by some celebrity chef and as I tend to drive and generally the beer at a rugby or football ground is pretty poor quality a decent bar isn't a major issue either. I have no interest whatsoever in listening to some unknown boy-band for half an hour before k.o. or at half time.
What I want is to turn up 15-30 mins before k.o., have a decent view of the game close to the pitch in a ground with some atmosphere and a bit of banter with some other supporters. Then I want to be able to leave and not be stuck there for an hour.
What I want tbh, is Wheldon Rd. Does this make me some sort of dinosaur, or am I perhaps part of an unrepresented silent majority?
