I believe both clubs are right to resist the idea of ground share in the others area.

It would only be a matter of time before the question was asked why do we need 2 teams playing out of the same stadium?

And then the club which has left its area is in a terrible position facing extinction. Those 2 junctions of the M62 would seem a long long way apart then.

As it is one club may lose its licence and drop down to the championship, it seems the RL want it that way. But at least that club will still exist and have its identity.

People used to say how damaging relegation was not least your coach. But as you know better than anyone it wasn't really all that bad because there was a decent chance of getting back.

If you lost your licence then there is a good chance you will not get back for many years if ever. You'd have to wait 3 years at least, which probably scuppers any chance of a new ground which in turn means you don't get a licence the time after either.

I expect what will happen is that one of you will not get a licence and then the council will assist the other in getting a new ground. The other will then take on a status similar to Featherstone.

Personally I feel it is better to go back to letting performances on the pitch determine who is good enough to be in Super League. Funny thing is if we were to do that neither of you would currently have anything to worry about.

Please dont confuse me with someone what gives a toss about GH, I do hope Cas get a new ground for SOME of the fans, but personally as it makes no difference to me I could not care less, and that is why I say to you boy SHOW ME on here where I have ever commented on your alleged new ground if you cannot find anything then just make it up like you usually do
