Players can't lose - if that isn't "Cas are not telling me anything - but come and get me" I don't know what is. Love that, not even 10 months into the contract signed, gotta love loyalty and badge kissing.
I hope it is a huge mis-quote...... Reading that, the club haven't said or done anything wrong in my opinion, they are a victim of player power and a dodgy approach, it will be played out in the media now. Anyone who thinks this is a CTRLFC problem you are mistaken, we tied him to a contract; Whatever people say we knew that with this yeares coach and last years squad, we were going to be struggling - stands to reason.
Anyone who thinks this is anyting other than a bigger club doing what they like becuase they have dollars and turning a players head without any consideration for contracts then you are daft. This is amongst the worst kind of behaviour.
The only thing that our vitriole towards basil and our club does is mask the deception and disgust we should be feeling to the real villains and beneficiaries in this transaction - the loyalty when someone backs you when you are convicted, takes a chance on you when few others were willing to and takes you from possible exile in your own country on charges to representing your (new) country should be worth something and it is all to easy to pretend it is someone elses fault and not your "choice".
Whatever you say about Goldy - he was linked elsewhere, had options and in the words on his neck - loyalty does cost nothing, he stood by a contract when he didn't have to, when nobody would have blamed him for walking away.
