Heard last night that gaz ellis reckons shenny has signed for wests.

If Arundel is a real prospect I would like to have seen him offered a longer contract than 2 years
Rumour is shenny has signed for 4/5 year contract with saints. They will make sure they recoup something for our endeavours, and probably in 2 years time, when another one of ours is showing promise they'll get him for sweet FA and flog shenny back to us.

Just because he didn't sign for longer doesn't mean he wasn't offered a longer deal.

It's a two-way street, clubs can't force players to sign deals and with the amount of uncertainty around at the moment, why would Joe Arundel commit to more than 2 years?
