They have been kicked out until after the WCC at least, probably for the rest of their season.

Their crowds can easily be accommodated at Otley or West Park Bramhope.

After spending all that money on a new pitch I'd never let 'em back in either.

Yes. Which is why they are still here and operate out of the Rhinos' Headingley/Kirkstall bases. But Caddick is no longer willing to put any money in so unless they manage to get promotion they are set on course for a slow death as their cash reserves gradually run out (they have about £4m or £5m in the bank from the sale of their Premiership shares last year).

There were some Tweets after the game from press saying there was talk in the press box the pitch was at fault. But if that was the case there would have probably been more than 2 injuries, unless they occurred in exactly the same spot.

But any compensation would come from the stadium owners not RFU...and it would just be classed as a occupational hazard no doubt.

The only thing worse than the Yawnion being allowed to train there was the fact 7k+ people showed up to watch them

Pretty sure the pitch isn't to blame - that was the 4th game played on it, and the injuries to vickery and Ellis were the first foot/ankle injuries sustained.
