the ground aint gonna get built, richard wright is a born liar and has been saying the stadiums gonna be bulit for years, id only believe what he says once the building work starts, id be very worried if i was a cas fan at the minute but thankfully im not. but while wright is still at cas he will keep telling the fans and the rfl what they want to hear , a man who cant be trusted in my opinion.

Castleford Tigers have full planning permission for a new stadium and the project for a supermarket is being driven by Opus North (Ltd), not RW.

Saviles and the RFL are both privy to our stadium project and where it is at and this was also submitted in our licence application. Furthermore, we want to sell our stadium for as much money as possible and so it was not feasible to sell it for housing.

I suspect he's referring to Tricky Dicky's decision to involve himself and CT in the Newmarket PI to a much greater extent than was necessary; a very poor decision that in my view, will cause long term damage to both his own and the club's reputation.

Whether he's the king of spin or not is no concern of Wakey's. Like I suspect anybody in his position, he'll do anything to make sure his business succeeds. Tbh he wasnt saying anything we didn't already know whether you like it or not.

This was nothing to do with spin - it was an ill-considered attempt to throw a spanner in the NM works.
