He hit Clubb pretty hard in a tackle. Do those two have previous? Seemed to be looking for each other during the game.

We were pretty average today. Good that we can throw 50+ on a team though despite not playing too good.

Thompson has been very good since coming back to us. When we announced we were recalling him, I honestly didn't expect much. He's been very good where ever he's played and yesterday had a cracking game. Is he a future second rower?

I couldn't believe it when I heard last week JT was on the bench as a 2nd rower and I was even more stunned yesterday when he retained his place as a 2nd rower and we dropped other forwards. Happy to admit I was wrong. He tackles well & makes good yards. Would it be safe to say he's the quickest 2nd rower in the league

I think he could be a very useful second rower, im probably getting carried away with his performance yesterday but he reminded me a little bit of Ben Creagh of St George, not the biggest but very mobile with a great workrate. Keep up the good work Jordan

So is Thompson another forward we can add to our list or do we still see him as a back/utility?

Its to early to say i guess, but when you look at the likes of Steve Menzies and Lee Gilmour being a utility has probably helped their careers.

Lets be honest...there are a lot of our players who aren't too hot on the tackling front at the moment. Even our beloved Rangi was in the SL stats top 25 for missed tackles going into the weekend.
