Well they are pretty exciting plans and I genuinely hope that they get realised!

The stadium design looks excellent and is pretty distinctive which is what gives it some real character.

If that gets built it'll be something Cas fans will rightly be proud of.

Not bruised at all mate. I'm just surprised that you feel able to dismiss the things I've linked to as "hopes and a sign", especially when that's pretty much all Wakey currently have - apart from the sign.

Apart from the funding to build the designs that have been handed back to the club, with a developer ready to start tendering once PP is submitted and approved, but that aside yeah i guess your right.

Hows the funding for j32 coming?

Damn, you've got me! I can't keep up the pretense any more!! It's true... Cas don't have any money - the last decade has all been an elaborate hoax on the part of the Tigers, Waystone, WMDC, the RFL, Sport England, the CIA, Microsoft, Greggs, etc, etc.... The whole house of cards is finally set to come tumbling down like a poorly assembled MFI wardrobe, and all because of you!

Those astonishing powers of interrogation have clearly won the day, exploding the entire Glasshoughton project for the myth it always was. I expect all those howling errors in your own claims about Wakey's progress were just a clever ruse to put me off my guard? Well it worked, damn you! I feel so ashamed!! Maybe next time I drive by I'll double check just to make sure Xscape really does exist. You know - just in case.

Anyway well done.

yes as i said a developer is in place, they then tender out work to construction companies. it's called sub-contracting.

what sandal says is more or less right, imo. after watching rw on boots "n" all, the guy that really knows whats going on down cas, confirmed himself that there were funding problems and for the first time did not , when asked, say a stadium share with wakey was not out of the question. i think this is the thin end of the wedge, as some of you say the stadium at xscape has been ongoing for years but yet nothing physical has happened. wakefield seem to be almost up to speed and maybe further on than castleford in a matter of months. the momentum seems to be with wakefield at the moment and maybe the powers that be who control the funding, prefer a community stadium at stanley. don't think it will be long before the cat is out of the bag. no pun intended. i myself would prefer 2 seperate stadiums, but that is my opinion.
