It's clear from the tone of your posts and your liberal use of the rather pathetic 'pmsl,' that you consider yourself to be a jolly amusing fellow; I am happy to disabuse you of that notion and to remind you that one of the very few things that unites Wakefield and Castelford fans is a universal agreement that you are a vapid, pointless waste of skin.
HTH - pmsl, etc etc.

| Two Cas fans were walking through a cemetery when they happened upon a tombstone that read: "Here lies John Johnson, a good man and a Wakefield fan."
So, one of them asked the other: "When the hell did they start putting two people in one grave?"

| FWIW (nothing much in any case..lol)
Chase is eligible to be picked, that's the end of that matter right there. So if the coach thinks he is good enough to be in the 17 & aside from maybe Brough as an alternative I'm happy he's playing.
He did some good stuff on Sat & some not so good stuff, I'm sure he'll be the first one to stick his hand up & say I fecked up a couple of times as did most of the players out there in any case.
With the responsibility he had when it goes awry it can often end up going really wrong, that's just the nature of things. If that kick had come off we'd have been saying it was 'sensational' as Kear would put it. It didn't, that Hall completely missed the tackle (which resulted in their winger making easy metres) compounded matters but no-one dare mention that.
However he did show glimpses of what he can do in attack. He was always going to be under the spotlight & some non Cas fans just couldn't wait to get into him no matter what. I Thought his D was a little better than previous.
If he's picked I'll be shouting for him to rip the kiwis apart.

Furthermore no-one mentions errors by Sinfield such as his failure to find his centre with a routine pass when a try was begging. And I've actually no problem with that because some of his other passes were sublime. It's just a pity people can't take a balanced view of overall performance in Chase's case because as you say he did good things particularily in attracting defenders but keeping play alive eg a great late offload to a receiver who had unfortunately switched off and fumbled but must remain nameless.
Personally I think Rangi is handicapped by his club background. Cas play in very few high intensity contests so Saturday was a massive step up for him and his game thrives on a level of involvement he was never going to get as an international rookie.

One of the most sensible statements I've read from a Cas fan, in the middle of several big piles of steaming, amber-tinted twaddle.

| I haven't read much of anything in the media about the game, but if you look at the VT and other club boards, you'll see liberal sprinklings of criticism of Sinfield, Westwood and Yeaman for example, as well as Chase.
