What would make a man who has coached his country with relative success, won multiple super league titles and knows the current Super League sides and players already rank lower than 3 Australian assistant coaches?

Georgallis is the Penrith head coach this year, picked ahead of Noble before Elliott got the boot.

He has been in charge for about a month, hardly experience that would put him ahead of Noble. Surely being Australian can't really count for so much can it?

As for Australian coaches they may not know the players or the SL comp as well as a local coach but they know the game better than anyone if they have been in a good system. Any assistant with Bellamy experience (Maguire) or Brian Smith experience (Trent Robinson, Tony Smith) will be successful IMO.

These coaches are at the forefront of understanding and coaching RL
