Many of the guys in CC1 that he is currently playing against aren't exactly anorexic. As to his own frame, haven't we learned a lot from Robbie Burrows when it comes to a players size?? But I can't blame you for wanting to keep him at Leigh for as long as possible.
I know that life in the Co-operative Championships must seem light years away for you Sooper Dooper league fans - well, maybe not in Cas's case!
Being pedantic, I'd just like to point out that Ryan, and Leigh (and Featherstone!) are not in CC1 - they are actually in the Championship. The likes of Rochdale, Workington etc. are in CC1. It's a bit like me saying Cas are in SL2!
As for Brierley, he has enormous potential - you've got a star in the making there - but I don't think he's physically ready for SL. He is being protected and nurtured in the Championship, and is not playing much more than half a game, when he is creating havoc against tiring defences.
