Because of his size? Never done much to hamper Burrow, Tomkins or even Chase has it?

I mean Sam Tomkins looks like he should be thrown around all over the place, but he isn't.

There's a difference.

Tomkins is playing with a big pack in front of him. With our light front row Brierley would get exposed. Can you imagine Brierley directing play like Chase does? I just have visions of Brierley coming in to the side and getting battered out the game, knocking all of his confidence. I'd prefer him to come in when we have a set up like Warrington had with Gareth O'Brien.

There's no doubt he has pace and skill, though. Just a question of whether can utilise those by building a strong pack for him.
