Only been over for 2 years. Was over for a few years ago playing for London, but think that was like 8/9 years ago.

It's a shame really because we know the club read the forums. We've all made them aware of it that 2 people into 1 quota place does not go.

Its not the point re quota places. It is down to the definition of non fed trained.

Clubs have been led to believe that quota players who came to the UK before a set date and played here so many years would be eligible to move from quota to non fed trained.

Now the RFL are saying this is not so. Clubs ,like Cas, are not to blame. The constantly changing RFL rules and haziness of communicating the latest interpretation is at fault.

Really???

Age and money aside, he was one of the better players for us on show, the speed around the ruck was much quicker and the passing from dummy half much crisper and better directed when he was on.

If anything, in his second and third spell the players around him were not good enough to match his sharpness and they offered him no options, a perfect example was in the last 5/10 mins when he drifted across the pitch, desperately looking for an inside runner, none were forthcoming and he ran out of options and ended up losing 15 meters, but that was not his fault!!!

i dont mate, i cant really go with you on that one i thought obst was one of the best for you around the play the ball i would be much happier if we were rumoured to be siging him on than the old man, i think we have shown this year that youth is the way forward and the we reportedley go out and sign martin and drew, its beyond belief to me and to make matters worse we look like letting boyle go one of the best youg forward prospects in the league, but thats just my opinion.

What is your interpretation of clubs like Cas?

The reality I have been told is that we signed both Drew and Martin on one and two year contracts respectively, believing both had either come off the quota or were about to come off it. Neither have or are, and so the contracts as far as I am aware are either null and void or have been cancelled.

The result is that both players are considering legal action against our club. It may also even go to a RL tribunal.

Personally I cannot believe how we could have been so incompetent and amateurish.

Referees are the only guys who can rob you and then get a police escort out of the stadium.

Unfortunately, that sound exactly something our club would do.

I would expect the deals would never have been sanctioned by the RFL anyway because of the quota rules making them void.

The dispute would be between the players and Cas. It has nothing to do with Wakey.
