Treacle Sponge recipe

6 tbsp golden syrup
4oz butter
4 oz caster sugar
2 medium eggs
½ tsp vanilla essence
4oz self-raising flour

Butter a pudding basin, and add the syrup. Cream the butter and sugar in a large bowl. Beat in the eggs and vanilla essence. Fold in the flour using a flat-bladed knife. Add this mixture to the pudding basin.

Place in the oven for 1/2 hour on gas mark 4 (180C/350F). Check to see if cooked by putting a knife or skewer into the centre. Should come out clean.

Serve with custard.

No that would be a big team like Leeds. You're more like a cash machine that never refuses to cough up 2 easy points, you give us an enormous feeling of well being and superiority

Can I say I just love the way you all come across Heath common like a swarm of ginger bees. You then brag pre match about how you will hammer the pussies because your better than us. A brilliant denial of recent history and a match for Chemical Ali in it's delusion.

Of course being a Trin fans and a natural pessimist I never expect us to win which makes it all the sweeter 8)

The only point being, my post was actually said jokingly and tongue in cheek rather than a response to the usual "my dad's bigger than your dad" debate.

Still. There's one benefit. I now have a treacle sponge recipe to try out.

Let's hope it's a good game and the 2,000+ fans that appear to have given up on Wakey remember where the ground is.

So – do you expect most of your fan to stay in the ground for longer than 60 minutes this year?

As i recall vastman was also rather arrogant in the build up to that game and look how that turned out (vastman going into hiding as i recall).

If all parties are honest the game could go either way, the table shows us as being evenly matched and both teams are in a bit of form. On the other hand they have a bit of a hoodo over us (like us with fax in the cup, or wakeys inability to beat the fartowners) but to conteract that sherwin and possibly evans and faumuina will be back, and we always do better away this season. Knowing we never win games easy i will go for cas by 4.

You seem to conveniently forget the good friday fixture, what does that say about your "significant improvement?"
As for the crowds bull$$it,a few weeks ago we played London on the same day you played Catalans, your crowd was 5,700 ours 5,100,it appears the enormous gulf between our crowds isn't quite the yawning (and I use this word intentionally as it really is boring and petty)gap isn't quite the gap you guys like to think!!!!
