Given that most coaches usually poach one or two of their favourite players from their previous team (a big thanks again for Steve Nash by the way) will Powell look to our neighbours for anyone?

I can't say that I am that up on the current Fev squad, but given that Feisal has issued a strict 'hands off' statement they must be plenty of quality just waiting to be had ...although given their league position there must be some pretty decent players there.

We missed the boat a bit with Cockayne who I'm sure surprised everybody with how he has shaped up this year but is there anyone else of similar potential?

Ellis might fancy another tilt at Super League

Finn and Kain have got good jobs that would probably leave them worse off if they went pro.

Mariano belongs to Wakey but has a desire for SL

England and Crossley would go well in SL


However, with the new structure that's been proposed, can't see too many wanting to jump ship to a club that will in all likelyhood (unless you have a way better season next year) be in the new SL2 on a smaller playing budget.

WHAT are you going to pay them with? serious question what are you paying them with. You couldnt even afford the 15k compensation in 1 go. Mark Cambell is letting you pay at 1k a month, and you still owe us 7k from that friendly an absolutely shocking state of affairs considering youv had millions more out of the game than we have. It makes my blood boil when i then hear some of your fans crowing about super league. For me it should just be called league

Went to the "meet the coach" event down the lane on Wednesday night and DP came across very well. He mentioned that in the Championship there is about 20 players in all that would handle the step up. Probably 3 at Fev - Worthington, England (ex- Tigers academy ) and Smeaton got a mention.

trouble is at the moment Cas he's lumbered with about 17 that cant.....

Running water was certainly in abundance down at WC stadium for the friendly i seem to recall.......
