As a person RW isn't a bad guy. However, as the CEO of any company you can't expect to make so many empty promises, miss so many targets, and miss so many target deadlines and still hold professional credibility.
There are many sayings that sum it up and a key saying in his case may well be....'It's not what you do, it's what you are seen to be doing.'....and RW in his time as CEO, was seen by Joe Public and Cas fans in general as a man who made far more promises than he actually kept. I'm not saying that it would have been all plain sailing behind closed doors at Cas, but a CEO should be the caliber of person to manage that situation internally, diffuse it, and present it externally.
Any way..as far as I am aware though, one of SL's criteria is that a club must have an appointed CEO, and hence lets see what the new broom brings....because there is a lot of sweeping up to be done at Cas.
All I ask for is less spin....more straight talking, and the balls to do...that which needs doing!
