While I agree that the team is poor and they are underperforming, I do not think that the coach is a scapegoat, he is simply not good enough!
Except for his time at Saints, when I still maintain he walked into a very good side already, He has not done the business in the top flight. Millward tried to put down a marker with the way he treated Mathers, showing how he beleives things should be done. It backfired and we now have some very average players operating at an even less interested level.
My original point about errors stands, what is he bringing to the way we play? It is not an attack against him as a bloke and he has had a terrible time in his personal life, and believe me, I could not feel more sorry for him but the fact is that he is not the man for this club, simple as.
