I know its a bit early but I have heard that Leeds are looking at renewing our Festive Challenge game at Headingley on Boxing Day. Could be to do with Wakey dropping down a division.

I thought we had an agreement with Bradford Bulls for a game on this day at home.

Don't like the Festive Challenge as it always has to be played at Headingley.

Prefer our Boxing Day ties at Wheldon Rd, personally.

They were very quick to ditch us from it when we got relegated in 2004 and we now have an established fixture with Bradford on Boxing Day which I actually prefer, so basically I think we should tell them to stick it.

yeah , lets play at home v bradford reserves infront of 3500 , why would we want to travel all of 15 miles to play a much more financially rewarding game with a crowd of 12000+.

and to think people on here have a dig at the B.O.D. for how they run the club !!!

Being a bit simplistic.......

Home game, all Bar receipts to us, or giving our hard earned to the Rhinos, who don't even open up a bar for us, no contest....

Boxing Day at the Jungle, vs the Bulls will do for me.

It is a genuine trade off guys! I understand the fans reasons for not wanting to come to Headingley on Boxing Day and also given you now have an established arrangement with the Dulls but... assuming you get an invite then turning it down is turning down more money as the proceeds, after costs, are split 50/50.

So simple question, go away to Headingley but get a bigger financial reward for doing so or, stay at home but take less revenue income?
