Not buying the hooker to half argument, especually without a ball handling specialist loose. We could kind of get away with it when we had Vowles at 13 for example, becuase he went there from 6. I don't think given we play 3 back rowers we can get away with it. Likewise, if you have Kidley, Stewart, Minichello at full-back to add to your line, but we don't. So I would rather play a junior who simply playes pivot and let Rangi play Stand Off proper to run round them and roam as opposed to Danny and Rangi and play a left and a right.
If we have a specilaist half we rate in the junior competition, then if we dont give them a shot we are kicking all the juniors and scolarship players in the stones.
We could play McGoldrick there and then get the right Second Rower a stretcher booked for their drop off in the inside channel with a red cross on it every set.
Been confirmed that brierley is playing for us ( Leigh ) tomorrow at fev, so rules him out of your game fri. Let's hope he can at least have a stormer and send fev to defeat for you
19 named with Danny in but it's since been confirmed that he'll miss the game. With Brierley at Leigh it looks like he'll opt for McGoldrick in the halves.
