After the Leagues decision to dedicate a round of super league to the state of mind operation does anybody think it would be a good idea to have it as the millenium weekend all the teams and their fans can really get behind it this way i feel!

IMO the MM weekend is a dead duck, been once at the start it and will not volunteer to be ripped off again. Instead of one round , dedicate one match per week to the SOM cause and blitz it with advertising (better than spending more money on the quins IMO), then its at the forefront all season.

MM should be scrapped now the Welsh experiment is over. The Welsh aren't and never have been interested in RL.

26 rounds - home and away - simple.

The amount of people down there that have come out and supported the club would beg to differ.

Crowds have been poor Fully over last couple of years at MM. Poor marketing, wrong time of season (2011). The fast-tracking of Crusaders just hasn't worked.

Is that because the people of Wales aren't supporting it or because fans of all clubs cannot be arsed to support the event, sit on the net whinging about it and prefer to watch it on TV? Even if it was on our doorstep, I don't think it would get a much larger attendance.

People blame Wales but Crusaders as a club was in its infancy. I just hope, like Catalans have, they come back and make everyone eat humble pie. Superb fans, credit to rugby league.

Rushing Crusaders into SL in 2009 has done more harm to welsh RL than good. They should have been allowed to produce their own players in the Championship (without the reliance of 16 overseas players) and increase their attendances to around the 3,000 mark before entry into SL. The main problem was obviously finance which the RFL can be blamed for not doing their research corrrectly (or ignoring the problem).

IMO - a 6 year term in the Championship is the minimum for a new outpost team before even applying for SL.

Every supporter will have a different view about Millenium or Murrayfield magic. That which one man see's as a jolly and a great weekend away....the next man see's as a waste of time and and added expense......who knows??

Personally I'd like to see it taken somewhere that gives a good excuse for a weekend break for those who wish to use it that way, yet close enough for those who wish to commute. Maybe somewhere in the Midlands, the North East, Manchester?? We can't say the event needs to be in an expansion area, or what the hell was it doing at Murrayfield??

Do we really need an 80,000+ stadium? would a 40K to 50K give a better atmosphere at the ground and a more enticing atmosphere on TV?

So many differing opinions, so many differing answers!
