Is there a Protest Today : Sun Apr 25, 2010 9:25 am
If things go wrong today and we get beat, will there be a protest. Or is one planned whatever happens.

For the Fans that do arrive, we have to get behind the team and give them support. The players need some confidence and a win can help.

But we need to keep pressurisng the Board. We should chant Sack the Board before the Kick off, to make them know we are still angry with them and will not let em off just because of a win.

I wish someone would have a banner pinned up on the fence "sack the Board"

"Sack the Board" and then what! We are not Chelsea Or Man Utd or Wigan even where some millionaire benafactor is going to ride to our resuce and want to throw loads of money at the club! Don't get me wrong I am as frustrated as the next person but everyone seems to think that by sacking the board that will be he end of all our problems. We cannot operate as a Super League club without a Chief Executive and if RW goes who is going to want to step in.

Dont you think its more important to get behind the lads on the park today??!! See Vowsleys post on other thread.

I am as frustrated as the next with how things are at the moment, but have you got a spare couple of Mill to chuck in and replace RW overnight??? Lets be sensible here!

"I'm sorry, but I would hope that we would beat Cas with a 1 day turnaround."

An arrogant Wigan fan a few days before we stuffed them 18-4 at the JJB.

Thought the support was good yesterday considering what has happened lately. A long way from good, but a step forward rather than back yesterday

Re: Is there a Protest Today : Mon Apr 26, 2010 5:54 pm
I have been supporting Cas since 1963 and as all the old fans know the BOD have always had the blame laid firmly at their door for the failings on the field. As someone else has already stated we do not have a sugar daddy to throw millions at the club, they have to work with what they make. I know that in recent years we have been very loyal supporters suffering relegation and the breaking up of the team and losing our players without any recompense, do you not think that does take a lot of turning around. If we had been able to get transfer fees for our players instead of them being free agents, we would not be in the predicament we are in at the moment. While our attendances have been good we have never hit the heights of Hull - Bradford - Leeds or Wigan so we can only buy what we can afford, no doubt if we could get crowds of 10,000 we would see a big improvement in the playing staff but until that moment arrives we have to play with the cards that are dealt to us. We all know the players we would like to see at Cas but i for one don't have the money to invest so i appreciate what the board are trying to do. I have seen worse displays on the field than the games so far this year but i still support my team and i always will do.
