Does anyone know how many of the reserves will be still on contract next year? as the competition has now changed to an u20s comp, where they can only play 3 over age players.
I presume a lot of the under 18s will be playing for the under 20s as they will be signing a few more youngsters from the scholarship, it must be tricky situation for most clubs with current contracts etc.

The U21s, Who dont qualify are been released, The club are offering 3 players absolute peanuts, I know Scott Turner is going to Dewsbury i think, And Sean Johnson will be leaving the club and going into Full time work, He may be able to play part time

I then presume all the U18s will be promoted which will give them a good 2 years with Gary Thornton before they are knocking the door down for the first team

What if they are still under contract, do they have to pay them untill the end of their contracts

Would all be dependent on the contract, of course, but if they're on a salary and the contract is terminated early then some form of settlement would have to be reached.

Thought he was going to aus? thats what he reckoned a few months ago.

yes but most of them are on peanuts or just winning pay / match money
