Dont want to get too far ahead (having already started a thread on Batley today) but.

Its reported in the trade press that Haven Players have agreed a pay cut to help stabilise the financial situaition at the club.

They also face a tough game at Barrow on Good Friday, However a victory would see them stay top of the league. so that will be an incentive for them.

Think there was problems in the offseason as the last remaining director wanted to resign, but if there are no directors the company would have to go into Administration. But some previous directors came in. (thats how I seem to remember it)

Seems they've had problems for a while though, so good on them for keeping going and still having a competitive side.

Yeh Haven are going well despite all the turmoil I think Ged Stokes and his players should be aplauded for that especially them taking a pay cut who said theys no loyalty left in sport.

As already pointed out on a previous thread, not many will come back from Cumbria - Barrow or Haven - with much more than a bonus point. I think it wll be another tough game as it always is.

However, I haven't seen our defence as good as it is now for many a year. I am totally and uttely confident(ish) that we will return victorious this time

Lets get past Batley first, it's going to be one hell of a tough game!

As MC says, "I know it's the old cliche, but we're just taking one game at a time" :D
