dont see why some faxfans are bitting at what some widnes fans are saying on here

being a fax fan for 27 years ive been lucky to go to some finals and see them win and lose . but i think alot of people a missing the bigger picture .

as a club we have three years to get it right and in my eyes that means winning the league and the grand final three years in a row . not a tin pot cup in blackpool.

well done widnes for the win today and good luck for the final , but i know which cups i would like my team to be lifting at the end of the season and this one wasnt the one on top of my list

its about time some fan fans stopped gobbing off on other message boards about how good we are , etc etc . then split the dummy out when them fans come on here and give u poop back .

and one final point matt calland keep your mouth shut the next time u want to make a sweeping statement

You dont have three years dude you only have 2, the decision regards franchises will be made mid part of the third year. So it's this year or next.

I don't think. We have been told that silverware will count in the final analysis for SL status so to suddenly say following this defeat it doesn't matter is stupid. It could not be more important for everybody associated with the club that we win something to really kickstart our SL challenge. But most worrying is that when the really important matches come along we seem to go AWOL big time. For such an important game we needed to start well and we didn't. Widnes they were much more professional and fully deserved to win. Anybody who says otherwise is deluding themselves. But in the final analysis today was another opportunity to show the RL world we are a force to be reckoned with and we blew it (again) This match could be a pivotal moment in a season that promised so much and ultimately fails to deliver. OK the season is a long way from over but I am beginning to feel the early season promise is beginning to falter along with naive comments that we are the best team `by a country mile'

Why is it stupid what I pointed out . Who said if we had
won yesterday that we would have won the final . Also
would the RL over look a team that won the league and
grand final three times , than one which won the tin cup

If I've read it right . The RFL said you don't have to have won a "Tin Cup" or a "Grand Final". But you must have contested one. So one box not Ticked yet.

There's a a weird atmosphere at your gaff. having one good season (so far) in the I don't know how many you've been poor/getting your act together, doesn't make put you in a better position than anyone else for SL qualification.

be good if Widnes and Fax both went up but if you're judging it on recent history, then Widnes are more likely to get the nod.

Lets hope they just go on the merits of both clubs, and then kick Salford, Wakey and Celtic out.

No, you have to have won it really. I can't see a team that hasn't won wanything in the next two seasons being taken seriously.

But that's irrelevant until you get your reserve and youth set-up sorted as I'm convinced that's where a franchise (which I remain implacably opposed to) will be won or lost for Championship clubs.

But I don't give a damn. I want our club to win every trophy it enters because it's there to be won. I'm sorry fans of other clubs don't feel the same really. Frankly, I don't give a fig what division we are in.
