HISTORY IS LITTERED WITH UNTHRUTH'S:

I CAN ASSURE YOU THERE IS NOT A HURRICANE ON IT'S WAY TO BRITAIN............MICHAEL FISH (BBC WEATHERMAN).

I DID NOT HAVE SEX WITH THAT WOMAN..............BILL CLINTON (PRESIDENT OF THE U.S.A).

OUR STADIUM WILL BE READY FOR THE 2010 SEASON................JOHN WILKINSON (SALFORD CHAIRMAN).

ARE PRIME EXAMPLES.........

Difficult for anyone to predict as we haven't really seen each other much over the last month.

Last time I saw Fax was the league game against Donny where you weren't much cop until the last 30 minutes, and the last time you lot saw us was probably the Leigh game on TV where we were truely awful.

Both will be much better Sunday and I think it will have more atmosphere than the final itself.

It is difficult to predict, at the moment fax seem to be coming back to life, but being honest, in my opinion, I am not sure we are at the same levels we were when we played you earlier in the season. The bookies dont often get things wrong, which suggests we "should" edge it. If either team loose their focus in the 80 that may determine the winner.

Would it be golden point like the cas game if level at 80 ?

Thats certainly what Bill Arthur said at last nights game. I really hope it doesnt come down to this ridiculous way of deciding a game

Alone in a crowd, but we're still standing strong
With X'ed up fists and sing alongs
Times like these are what we live for
These days are more than we'd ever hoped for

I certainly have. If the game has to be decided on the day then the extra time should be played as it alway has been. Only then should the golden point be brought into force.

or

If there is to be a "golden anything" then it should be a golden try, which would ensure that the play would be meaningful.

The idea of the golden point straight after 80 mins of time gives a huge advantage to the side receiving the ball from the kick off. All they have to do is five good drives to get into the opposition half and then a good drop goal attempt.

It is a huge anti-climax to what would have been an exciting game.

This will be a very hard game but I have faith in calland and the boys and think we will just edge it:
