The 'obstruction' try could have gone either way; I actually think Laughton just about got it right as the Widnes mon had took the dummy anyroad, though I believe the linesman actually wanted to disallow the try and was overruled.

So, in summary, it started off coherent and then descended into Neanderthal but the finish did come back to something resembling the Iron Age. Thank God the Vikings took over

Well done Widnes today. They were up for it and we lost because of a low completion rate. OK...the ref wasnt too good for us but he didnt drop the ball...good luck in the final.

Cheers, its hard to take as we did not play like we can today, glad we came back and made you sweat, we would have won if Blacky had not dropped that ball.
We need to learn how to protect the ball more, we coughed it up far too often today, in a cup semi final you have to keep it tight and take your chnaces, Widnes did and we didn't today.

So far this season, it has been a privilege to be in the same league a Halifax. Despite almost complete dominance so far, we have had little of the boastful nonsense we've had from Hull KR, Castleford and Salford fans, when they were in a similiar position.

I am a bit disappointed with the, blame the ref, line some of you have taken though....

Maybe but it was a semi final and you need every bit of help you can get, you would be unhappy at a 7-1 penatly count first half come on admit it.
Plus that try was short, honest.
It makes a difference mate.
