The title of the thread sums up perfectly the way the game is being run at the moment. DR aside, if you stand back and look at what's going on in the game it is astounding. The reserve team saga, Foreign cubs in the English league, the Bradford/RFL situation, a GB coach picking 2nd rate Aussies to play, out of position, for our national team. Need I go on? I hope things change but with the people in charge of the game going nowhere, I don't hold out much hope.

Pete, I don’t think you will find one person to disagree with you , but it won’t make any difference, the reserves saga is about cash, again probably the same with Bradford, the Bennett situation is a joke, but it’s up to the RFL to sort things out, your stance won’t make the slightest difference,it’s about you and yer entertainment, cmon mate get to the Shay this afternoon, yer Club needs you. I’m doing my bit for Fax , I’ve entered 2 teams in the Fax Fantasy League comp. .

I appreciate what you say Ian but I've just had enough. If we carry on like this teams like ours are just going to become feeder clubs at best. Some clubs won't exist in a few years I believe. I know me taking a bit of time out will change nowt but I'll see how we go and hopefully I get the desire back.

Pete, at the end of last season , I was so happy it had finished, but over the close season I realised how much I missed the game, I went to the Friendly against Wigan and have bought my season ticket , and now can’t wait for Saturdays game against Sheff, I hope Fax sofften them up this afternoon. On Friday night our first half was very slow but I. The second half we played well at Dews. Again Pete the politics of Clubs is beyond my control so I just get on with watching the game I love.It would be nice to see you this season ,I won’t be at the Leigh v Fax game myself as my Daughter is performing in London ,so we are going for the week end.I hope you reconsider your views,it’s not Faxes fault.

Totally agree and add to that the TV debacle where Sky have rights for The Championship and deign to show the odd game (perhaps).
Heaven knows what deal RFL will agree to for the next agreement with a broadcaster.
Despite all this I will be at the Shay to cheer the Fax along just as I have for nigh on 60 years through thick and thin. A lot of thin to be fair too.
So Hudd-Shay forget the sh***and pay your money and come on down to be entertained.
