Tangata hasn’t played a game since re-signing. Will people be saying it was the wrong decision if he’s a world beater for the next 2 years when he returns? Doubt it.
Forwards not laying a platform in attack and lack of aggression in defence - Tangata is exactly what we need.
Before people say “we needed new half backs”.. we needed to look elsewhere in the squad instead of relying on old heads which no longer have the legs.
Despite the above - i’m in agreement that it probably was time for Marshall to go at the end of the year. But since you have to let them know whether they intend to offer him a new deal or not by the end of the month, it was obvious they’d part ways now.
