Good for you, nice to see you supporting the club when we most need it. Anyone can come every week when we are winning

Faxfan I resent your sentiments above really. I've watched this club for 30 years home and away but answer me this do I currently want to waste petrol money and admission money to watch a team that appears to have little or no motivation . . . . . . The answer is NO. I too will not be going to Batley or Leigh and wasting £60-100 quid of my hard earned dollar when the players show the fans little or no respect in terms of there effort on the field. PRIDE is all I ever ask for and this team is currently lacking in this and other areas. Does that make me a poor fan? With 2 kids, a preganant wife and an uncertain economy I choose my leisure spending wisely and this team currently does not give me any value for money.

Your absolutely right, and I could have convinced my wife to stay at home, which means I could have probably kept my costs down to £20.00. But that still would have been poor value for money.

That said, I have been to nearly every game in the last 20 years, good and bad and no matter how much I moan I will be at Batley next Thursday, hoping that this poor performance has come to an end.

I just wanted a moan and to point out that DON VALLEY is not a good venue to watch rugby league

Don Valley is terrible for any sport other than athletics. Far too far away, no atmosphere, and for what its worth no fans either but the few of them there are have the last laugh as they beat us again!

No Chris I'm not saying you are a poor fan. However respect is a two way thing and it would appear from things mentioned on here that it isn't been given two ways here. I am a fan not a player and I can see we have a very one sided view. It would be nice to have a players forum so we could see their thoughts but unfortunately we can't. Do you think the players respect us when we are squaring upto them in the south stand, or shouting abuse in their faces? Or slagging off the board when they have improved no end? Criticism is fine but its how we go about it. As I have already said they are still human.

Fair enough for your value for money comment but plenty of people on here said they weren't coming again after the Fev game..and to be honest in my opinion at that stage it was a little bit fickle and fans like that we are never going to retain unless we win the league every year!

Value for money?

I work in Derbyshire so I decided I would work late and go, so my wife came down to MeadowHELL on the bus £5.70. As I met her at MeadowHELL we had a meal £29.50 then a little bit of shopping (wont include this in the calculation) then down to Don Valley, paying £28.00 for the entry fee. I then bought a couple of tea's and a bottle of coke over the evening £3.50.

Total spend for the evening £66.70 to watch ants run around a field (by heck there a long way away) and to watch a team without spirit and totally lacking in any confidence and determination.

Was this value for money?????????????

£7 for juniors! and it'snot even a rugby ground!

We had joy. We had fun.
We had seasons in the sun,
but the hills we would climb
were just seasons out of time.
All our lives, we had fun.
We had seasons in the sun,
but the stars we could reach
were just starfish on the beach.
We had joy we had fun
We had seasons in the sun
But the wine and the song like the seasons
Have all gone.
