Its a joke is this, the salary cap is working ok,Just look at the table and its just a cap it does say that clubs have to spend that amount on players. Its just a way for the smaller clubs to bring the likes of ourselves, widnes, Barrow etc.. down to them, as opposed to them aspiring to the top teams level when it comes to income streams
How is any team in the co-operative leagues will now be capable of assembling a team to go up into super league? Answer none!!!
All the clubs will be full of loanees, is this the first stage of feeder clubs?
If its to stop teams going bust etc..., they best introduce a reduced salary cap on super league cos a few in there cant afford to spend the 1.8million that they are allowed, the RFL is currently helping out Celtic and have in the past London and Paris all super league clubs, so obviously they the ones who are struggling.
The RFL have an agenda and i am afriad that it does involve any of the little people in the co-operative leagues. Maybe it time to face reality.
